Strategic Partnerships Accountant

Salary: £21.01 per hour

Apple Recruitmnet are seeking to recruit an Accountant for our public sector housing client based in Belfast. The role is mon-fri 9am-5pm, £21.01 per hour plus holidays.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Strategic Partnerships Accountant role will be a dynamic role requiring the successful candidate to be adaptable, self-motivated, have sound professional and systems skills/knowledge, as well as an ability to work closely with senior managers across the organisation together with external stakeholders.

The Strategic Partnerships Accountant will report directly to the Strategic Partnerships Financial Development Manager and provide support across the wider Strategic Partnerships team.

Essential Criteria:

* Applicant must be a fully qualified accountant, CCAB or equivalent.

* Have at least 1 years’ experience gained at a senior level in an accounting environment. This must include experience in a minimum of 4 of the 5 areas outlined;

* Experience providing a comprehensive financial management service including budget setting, budget monitoring, forecasting and presentation of information to senior management.

* Experience in implementing strategic business improvements.

* Experience in implementing and/or reconfiguring existing business systems to support new accounting requirements.

* Experience in design and implementation of new reporting solutions to inform operational and strategic decision making.

* Experience in the development of costing models using Excel.
