Pertemps Industrial Division are currently recruiting for a Storesperson for a busy college within the Hairdressing & Beauty department on a temporary basis based in the Clydebank area of Glasgow.

To be considered for the role you must have a current valid PVG in place as you will be required to start immediately. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.45am – 4.45pm.

Duties include:-

– Ordering all consumables for use within the Hairdressing and Make Up department
– Receive and inspect all orders and update system
– Issue stock to students and lecturers
– Calculate costs for department
– Check all invoices, delivery notes & credit notes and liaise with procurement team
– Deal with cash and cheque sales of relevant retail products
– Cash up sales and deal with re-plenishing stock levels
– Maintain records for banking and audit purposes

To be considered for the role you must have experience in:-

– Previous experience within a stock room
– Ability to communicate and deal with people at all levels
– Adhere to Health & Safety requirements set by the college
– Be flexible and carry out other duties as and when required
– Ideally previous experience or a knowledge of Hairdressing and/or Health & Beauty products
– Good IT skills and ability to use internal system and Microsoft Office
– Ability to manage client records effectively
– Excellent organisational skills

In return my client is offering £26,000 per year based on a 35 hour working week.
