Salary: £26,000 per year
My Client based in Barrow is currently seeking an experienced Material Controller for an immediate start for an initial three month period
The function of the role will be to control the goods inwards, materials issues, packaging, dispatch and calibrated equipment requirements
You will also support site personnel with equipment issues and prepare all necessary documentation for materials movements
A solid warehousing/logistics background is required, alongside COSH experience and knowledge of PPE equipment
A full driving licence is required as well as FLT Counterbalance experience
This is a four on three off position with days of work always being Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Pay is £26,000 per year weekdays and £26,000 per years weekends.
Other tasks include
Daily ordering and Stock Control, through replenishment reporting
Receive goods and record on SAP accurately and timely
Conduct weekly cycle checks and report
Attend Site meetings
Manage all types of returns (warranty, refit etc)
Own and control COSH stores and ensure items are managed correctly and in full
Support additional site locations when required
