Job Title: Stores Person
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £26,000per year’000 per year
Hours: 45 per week
Type: Permanent

I have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Person to join one of the largest companies within its industry who operate on a nationwide basis.

Duties:
* Supervise all the stock requirements
* Update and maintain relevant filing systems, databases and reports for all products
* Carry out regular stock checks and report these to the Operations Manager as and when required
* Implement stock control for PPE tools and put into practice ordering process
* Carry out regular Stores and transportation inspections
* Ensure all materials purchased meet the requirements of the company
* Ensure material wastage within the depot is at an absolute minimum

Requirements:

* Full clean driving licence
* FLT licence
* Manual Handling
* Health and Safety qualification
* Must have worked in a similar environment.
* Must be experienced with stock control and Purchase orders using an IT system and MS Office
