Stores Controller

Stores Controller required on a contract basis to join an industry leading automotive business.

will play a key role in the goods in process within the prototype build area.

Key responsibilities:

* Receipt all parts using Goldcrest to support prototype builds making sure that parts are receipted against the correct order and labelled accordingly
* Ensure parts are counted, checked for any damage and located in the Goods In area
* Compile regular Parts Awaiting Inspection lists to progress parts through to being stored
* Handle invoice and receipting queries ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely manner
* Maintain key information within Excel sheets to ensure that all parts/shortages status reports are up to date with the latest data and invoicing can be carried out for all parts
* Liaise with purchasing and PD to resolve and parts issues

Experience required:

* FLT Licence
* Experience of working in a logistics goods in role
* Knowledge of Bill of Material structures
* Good knowledge of goods in processes
* Computer literate with experience of using excel
* Confident individual with strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
