Stores Construction Project Manager

Store Support Office, Southampton, 37.5 hours

£57,000 – £70,000 salary + Pension, Bonus, BUPA, ShareSave, 6.6 weeks holiday

As a Property Portfolio Project Manager at B&Q, you will be responsible for the strategic management and delivery of property projects within our stores. From new builds and relocations, to right-sizing and revamps, you will ensure that all projects are delivered to defined time, budget and quality levels, and controlled within processes and governance.

You’ll manage an average of 15-20 projects, all at varying stages of the life cycle. Your excellent communication and influencing skills will ensure that all stakeholders, from external suppliers and vendors, to landlords, developers and onsite project managers, are informed and engaged.

In previous roles, you will have extensive experience in managing successful delivery of various retail projects in live trading environments, minimising disruption and maintaining the customer experience. You’ll be highly organised, numerate and commercially focused, capable of analysing complex data to solve difficult problems towards positive outcomes.

You will need to travel nationwide so flexibility and a full driving licence is essential.
