Salary: £26,000 – £27,600per year

The Money Shop is part of Dollar Financial; we operate a network of stores in the United Kingdom. Our retail stores offer a number of loan products, Pawnbroking, Cheque Cashing, Money Transfer, Pre-Paid Cards and Gold Buying services.

We are currently transitioning through some exciting changes which provides a fantastic opportunity for a Store Manager to join our retail store in Holloway.

As a Store Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the store, managing and coaching staff to ensure that our client’s customers are provided with an excellent standard of service and all transactions and tasks are completed accurately in line with company and regulatory requirements.

Store Manager key responsibilities:

– Ensure all customers are treated fairly and provided with clear information about their products
– Ensure customers receive suitable advice taking their personal circumstances in to account
– Ensure all transactions and tasks are completed accurately and compliantly in line with company policy and regulatory requirements
– Develop a team through recruiting, training and coaching that are capable of meeting our customers` expectations and regulatory requirements
– Responsible for protecting the company’s assets through following correct process and controls.
– Responsible for delivery of profit target through effective management of the store P&L
– Maintain your store to the highest standard in line with a model store guide
– Build confidence and engagement in your team through collaboration and team-work 

The ideal candidate:

– Management or supervisory experience
– Experience of delivering and exceeding business results
– Ability to manage your time effectively and achieve tasks within expected time-scales
– Ability to lead and manage people effectively through change
– Strong communication skills
– Experience of working within a regulated environment is highly desirable
