The primary function of this position is the co-ordination of the stores area, ensuring prompt delivery of parts, compliance with regulations and integrity of material whilst in care.

Ensure the co-ordination of all activities within the stores area are in-line with business and regulatory requirements, as deemed necessary in support of all programme/production requirements.
The job holder will be expected to liaise with all levels of the business.
Responsible for the receiving of goods in-line with the company Goods Receiving Inspection procedure, inventory control, storing and the subsequent distribution and kitting, in a controlled manner, to facilitate and support both production and non-production operations in accordance with oral, written or computer instructions.
Package and ship components to external customers using company approved shipping methods in such a way as to guard against damage and loss.
Administration skills and a knowledge and understanding of Export and Import documentation, in respect of goods receiving and dispatch activities, is preferred.
Responsible for good housekeeping practices within the stores area and promotes strict adherence to security guidelines laid down by the company.

Knowledge of Stores/Distribution practices with previous experience in managing stores facility preferred.
Attainment of NVQ Stores & Distribution is preferred.
Background in a similar environment preferred (Aircraft Support)
