Gate Keeper / FLT Operator

Salary: £26,000 per year

Advanced Diesel Engineering is a Generator and Switchgear Acoustic housing specialist responsible for the design, manufacture, installation and service of our unique products.

To support our continued growth we are looking for an experienced Gate Keeper/FLT operator to join our Pontefract site.

Do you have experience of managing a busy goods in/out gate and hold FLT licences?

We are looking for someone who is conscientious in their way of working, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative, and who can cope with the pace of production whether working as part of a team or on their own.

Candidates should have current FLT licences and prior experience on several counterbalance trucks ranging from 2T to 15T. You should be able to work efficiently and safely to keep our busy fabrication teams fed with material, load and offload trucks and supervise deliveries.

Applicants are expected to have previous experience with FLT work within an engineering environment and hold an up-to date licence – ideally up to 15T Counterbalance B3

Hours of work: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday 0800 to 1630 – overtime available

Salary: £26,000per year:00 per year – negotiable depending on experience plus overtime at time and a half.
