Salary: £26,000 per year

My client – a dynamic, focused and progressive wholesale company located in Bracknell are looking for a motivated self-starter Warehouse Stock Controller, to drive themselves and support multiple departments within their business.

The ideal candidate will have a can do attitude, and be focused in their drive to succeed and progress within the organisation. Analytical thinking, experience using Microsoft Excel and being able to work as part of a team are non-negotiable for this role.

Responsibilities include:

Inventory Receiving:

Liaise with Operations Manager on shipping dates and deliveries
Ensure supplier stock integrity is checked and discrepancies highlighted, claimed and adjusted accordingly
Ensure stock putaway standards are maintained and adhered toStock Control:

Inventory to be stored to facilitate quick and accurate retrieval, fastest moving product to be given accurate pickface space and as close to dispatch area as possible
Ensure replenishment of pick locations is up to date
Manage pick locations for low and negative values of stock
Check returns against paperwork for quality and condition
Ensure credits are raised in a timely manner
Return paperwork filed accordlingly Rolling Stocktakes

Create and follow a rolling stocktake which ensures that all locations are accounted for and counted in a month
Plan for adjustments to be made three times per month
Achieve individual KPIsRequirements – Basic requirements are as follows:

Basic computer experience
Can-do attitude
Confident and enthusiastic
Hungry to learn and contribute to the business, with the potential of becoming a systems expert
Team spirited
Respect for company values of integrity, honesty and loyalty
