Stock Controller

Calling all Stock Controllers!

At this market leader of specialist manufactured products for retail and construction sectors, there is now an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join the management team at their site in Rossendale.

The key focus of this newly created role will be to ensure the integrity of all finished goods stock transactions across three in-house warehouses and five consignment stock warehouses in the UK.

Reporting into the Site Manager, within the role of Stock Controller key responsibilities will be to:-

* Ensure the site has robust processes and controls for the movement and recording of stock.
* Ensure accuracy of production booking of manufactured goods into stock.
* Ensure accurate stock movements and transfers are recorded between warehouses.
* Ensure the accurate recording of scrap and reject product.
* Manage perpetual inventory counts.
* Be proactive in reviewing and improving stock control procedures.
* Investigate and control discrepancies.

The successful candidate will have experience working within stock control processes, managing inventory in a fast paced environment. This is a genuine opportunity for a driven individual to make their mark and use their experience to put in place an efficient stock control system.

In return the salary on offer is up to £32,400 plus excellent pension scheme, life insurance and 32 days holiday.
