Steelwork / Metalwork Erector

Salary: £14.4 – £16.8 per hour

Our client is a well established and successful steelwork fabrication business, based local to Portsmouth on the South Coast. They design, fabricate and erect structural steelwork such as mezzanine floors as well as specializing in architectural metalwork such as stairs, hand-railing, spiral and curved staircases, balconies and the like.
Due to continued growth and a full order book, they now require an additional steelwork erector.
Steelwork Erector
We seek an experienced steel erector, with a sound, general knowledge and experience of site work and erecting a wide range of steelwork but especially someone with very good experience with architectural steelwork such as noted above, i.e. stairs, hand-railing, balconies etc.
To also have experience in the following:
Arc Welding. Some fabrication may be required
Competent in reading drawings
Previous experience of medium / heavy steelwork / Architectural Steelwork
Able to work as part of a team and on your own
Be a CSCS card holder
Hold a full driving licence
The role:
Full-Time PAYE
Salary: £14.4 – £16.8per hour depending on experience.
You will be required to start early in the morning.
A flexible working approach will be needed to meet the deadlines required by our clients.
