Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year
Our client seeks an additional Steelwork Draughtsman to join their team on a permanent basis at their Wigan based office.
This is a good opportunity for a steelwork draughtsman to join a busy and successful sub contract drawing office with a large existing client base.
The role of Steelwork Draughtsman:
To generate 3D CAD models of steel projects and all required documentation from it e.g Fabrication drawings, erection drawings, material lists etc. Projects will include structural and secondary steel.
To work on your own initiative when needed, and liaise with clients, engineers, site, etc.
The candidate:
Minimum 2 years steel detailing experience is essential.
Experience with Autodesk Advance Steel or other steel CAD programs such as StruCad, Tekla, AutoCAD etc. – full software training may be given.
Experience working on both structural steel and secondary steel projects an advantage.
