Draughtsman Steelwork

Role / Duties:
* Working from engineering/GA drawings to create 3D CAD models for a range of steelwork projects.
* Create detailed assembly/fabrication drawings, bills of material, erection drawings.
* Liaise with internal colleagues and relevant external companies such as Architects and engineers.
* Generate and chase as required technical queries/RFIs.
* Working within a team of detailers on a project or running your own project from start to finish.
Candidate requirements:
* Must be CAD literate. Experience using Tekla structures software an advantage but not essential as full training on Tekla can be provided, but a minimum requirement is to have solid experience using AutoCAD.
* Steelwork knowledge is essential for this role with experience in detailing structural, secondary, and Architectural steelwork or any combination of such.
* Ability to organise workload and manage detailing / issue of drawings program.
* Good time keeping.
* Flexibility to work overtime occasionally – to get the job done.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.
* Full UK driving license.
