SQL DBA/SQL Database Administrator/Application Support – £35000-40000 – Bromley, Kent – SQL/DBA/Microsoft/OLAP/SSAS/OpenText/PowerPivot

I am seeking a SQL DBA/SQL Database Administrator/Application Support to join a highly talented team at Capita, a FTSE 50 company and the leading BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) organisation in the UK. As SQL DBA/SQL Database Administrator/Application Support you will join a department who manage a range of databases and applications including Business Intelligence and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and other bespoke applications.

As SQL DBA/SQL Database Administrator/Application Support, responsibilities will include administering Microsoft SQL databases, optimising system performance and developing a data warehouse system. You will also be responsible for 3rd line technical support and liaising with 3rd party suppliers.

Key Skills and Experience:

3+ years’ experience as a DBA
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL (qualification desirable)
Extensive knowledge of SQL Server 2008
Experience of working with large data sets
Strong team ethic
Excellent customer facing skills
