We are currently recruiting for a Specialist Job Proofing Technician for a leading Pest control company in the Inverness area. This is a permanent position. If you are looking for a rewarding varied role this could be the position for you.
As one of our Specialist Job Proofing Technicians, you will deal with a varied range of jobs from large complex roof nets to fouling clearances and lots more. You will be trained to deliver outstanding pest control services to our existing customers while building strong long-term customer relationships and supporting their diverse pest management challenges.
Main purpose of the role:-
Proofing installation for bird management including acoustics, wires, spikes, and netting.
Carrying out installations of strip curtains, brush strips, fly screen doors, window mesh.
Carrying out minor proofing works to building fabrications.
Wildlife management by culling.
Hygiene treatments including the removal of animal carcasses and waste.
Transport / dispose hazardous waste, ensure it takes place efficiently without contaminating air, land, or water sources.
Complete Job Work contracts professionally, to specification within budget.
Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Maintain job work tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Ensure safe working areas and high standard of hygiene for job work.
General pest control routine duties, as and when required. Where there is no job work requirements this routine work will be required.
Any other duties as required by the needs of the business.

Skills/Experience:
Ideally be qualified/experienced in the following, IPAF Mobile, PASMA – Mobile Tower/Harness/Latchway.
Must have pest control experience with at least a RSPH Level 2 qualification. Have a full, valid UK drivers licence.
Competent written & verbal communication skills.
Excellent communication skills and be confident dealing with customers at all levels.
