CFC Consult is working in partnership with this gastro pub group in Surrey and Berkshire and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to join their team.

What’s involved?
Working alongside the head chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, designing weekly special and seasonal menus, and helping to achieve the goal of getting 2 rosettes in 2022.
The sous chef
* A backgrounds of 2 Rosette would be preferable but a passion for good seasonal rustic food is a must.
* Leads kitchen team in chef’s absence
* The ability to manage a team as well as to run service.
* Motivated and adaptable with a flexible approach
* A strong HACCP knowledge and financial acumen is preferable
Own transport is a must as the pub is located in a small village on the outskirts of Wokingham
* A salary of £43,200 + fringe benefits, 28 days holidays + pension plan
* The role is for 48 hours per week with 2 split and 3 straights
* Overtime are paid over 48 hours
