We are currently working closely with a market leading Engineering Consultancy who are looking to expand their digital development division in their London office with a Software Developer or Digital Development Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* The Software Engineer will be responsible for undertaking programming and code reviews (Full stack) and will be running small to medium size software development projects.

* Development of applications and modelling tools

* Liaising and understanding internal users and stakeholders requirements and needs

* The Software Engineer will be contributing to the development to software architecture, testing integration, user support, bug fixes and cloud infrastructure.

* Overseeing technical content

* Full implementation of projects in the IT infrastructure

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

* The Software engineer will have a proven track record in software development.

* Experience with front end (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Typescript) and back end (Rust/ Python programme languages). Rust is a major language that will be used in this Software engineer role.

* Knowledge of BIM would be a plus.

* Experience with Azure DevOps, AWS Yaml, Terraform or sonarcloud

* Previous participation in medium fast paced projects

* Degree in a computer science or engineering discipline
