Control Systems Software Engineer now required for the delivery of high integrity and complex control systems for the nuclear industry. Your duties will involve the design of project solutions for materials handling and machinery control projects.
You will be responsible for the production of PLC, HMI & SCADA designs to IEC 61131 from concept designs and specification in order to meet project and customer requirements.
Duties will Include:
· The production of software documentation
· PLC, HMI & SCADA software coding
· Production of software specific test documentation
· Specification of hardware & software of parts lists
· Design of project specific networking (Ethernet, Fieldbus etc)
· Communicate at all levels with both internal and external customers to meet client expectations
· Provide technical expertise to tenders as and when required
· Provide input to the development of the software function and resource
You must be capable of producing technical & functional specifications and developing control systems from concept design through to final design, installation and commissioning along with possessing a sound knowledge of and experienced in the application of the latest relevant IEC standards and statutory legislation

You can expect a salary of up to £54,000. The role is commutable from West Bromwich, Birmingham, Oldbury, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Telford, Cannock, Stafford, Rugeley, Halesowen, Sutton Coldfield and Tamworth.
