Software Verification Developer/Engineer
This is a great opportunity is for a graduate or recent graduate (of 1-2 years) to join a world renowned software engineering team developing Linux-based embedded software. From day one, you will be given real responsibility and will start working on live projects, where you will apply your existing knowledge and skills, and begin your developmental journey to becoming a first class software developer and domain expert in an interesting, challenging and fast-paced industry.
Main duties and responsibilities:
– Design and development of product verification test suites for different hardware platforms and software systems in coordination with the software engineering teams
– Developing and executing test plans that verify the correctness of software engineering deliverables
– Doing the above in an agile and fast-moving product development environment
– Maintenance and enhancement of existing test suites and systems
– Collaborating with and supporting the Software Quality Assurance team
Desirable:
– Familiarity with broad range of interfaces/technologies used in the STB environment such as Tuners, HDMI, USB, Wifi, BT, IRDA and CPU architectures such as ST video processors, INTEL CPU’s
– Familiarity of communications/network protocols, e.g. Ethernet, RTSP, IGMP
To be considered for this role you must have the ability to write verification tests with minimal support and experience with software development in a Linux enviroment

Ideally you will have achieved a good grade in Computer Science or a related degree subject
