Social Worker

Salary: £40.76 per hour

Initial 3 months contract with Bracknell Forest Council however there is opportunity for extension.

This role is £40.76 P/Hr (UMB)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a in our Duty and Assessment Team. The Duty and Assessment Team are a busy but supportive team – children are listened to and included in plans to maximise their safety, meet their needs and to support their families. We are an OFSTED Outstanding authority with good links with our partners and an embedded practice model.

Key Duties/Accountabilities:

• This role entails completing assessments for children at the ‘front door’ in relation to a wide range of needs – no two days are the same.
• We especially welcome interest from staff who enjoy the pace of Duty and Assessment work, can complete reports on time and who enjoy being part of a team.

Essential Experience Required:

• 2 Years’ experience working as a social worker wit children is required for this role.
• Experience working with councils / within the public sector is necessary

Essential Qualifications Required:

• (HCC) Professional qualification in Social Work (Diploma in Social Work, BA/BSc/MA in Social Work, CQSW as required by Social Work England Essential
• (HCC) A Full and Clean Driving Licence including the PCV element Essential
• (HCC) A good standard of general education including good applied literacy and numeracy skills. Essential
• 3 GCSE’s, Grades A-C, or equivalent including English and Mathematics
