Social Worker
Industrial Personnel are now recruiting for a Social Worker, for a client based in Derbyshire.
THE JOB
* Up to £42 PH.
* Permanent position.
* Based in Derbyshire.
* Support individuals and communities to achieve their potential.
* Work in partnership with individuals to identify needs and to develop plans and responses which meet those needs.
* Act on behalf of vulnerable individuals to safeguard their health and wellbeing.
* Effectively manage a designated caseload to achieve the best outcomes for individuals, groups, and communities.
* Provide leadership and expertise to empower individuals, groups, and communities to achieve identified change.
* Build and sustain relationships with individuals and communities.
* Represent the needs of vulnerable people.
General Responsibilities

The Person
* Must have experience working with people in a variety of settings within social care.
* Experience working with people experiencing emotional, personal, or practical problems.
* Knowledge of social work practice and methods in childcare essential.
* Able to work effectively as an individual or as part of a team.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
* Competency when using technology.
* Knowledge of Welfare Benefits, person-centred planning, assessment skills and all relevant legislation required.
* Must be able to reflect on own personal development.
* Travel between departmental service outlets required.
* Ability to work flexibly across teams or functions.
* Must have experience in Court Work and Care Proceedings.
Qualifications
* BA Hons in Social Work or equivalent required.
* Current HCPC registration.
* Enhanced DBS required.
* Minimum of three years’ experience working with Children and Families.
