Salary: £26,000 – £29,250 per year
ADULTS SOCIAL WORK ASSISTANT – CARE MANAGEMENT TEAM – DUDLEY
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an ADULTS SOCIAL WORK ASSISTANT to work within the CARE MANAGEMENT TEAM based in DUDLEY to start ASAP.
This is a great opportunity for newly qualified Social Workers to gain some valuable statutory experience in the ADULTS sector!
The role will involve dealing with queries from all departments within Dudley MBC, external agencies etc. There will also be a requirement to undertake assessments as required. You will need to be articulate and clearly record your own professional activity.
This role is a 3 month rolling contracts with possibility to be extended even further! The Salary: s are dependent on experience.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
*To contribute to the delivery of personalised social care services as outlined in National Legislation and guidance and in line with county policies and procedures
*To promote the creative and flexible use of personal social care budgets to appropriately meet the needs of customers and carers
*To keep effective records in relation to the work undertaken using Social care electronic records.
Essential requirements for this role include:
*Qualified in or studying towards a Social Work Qualification
*Duty Experience within an Adults Social Care setting, preferably in a statutory setting (this includes any placements done)
*Registered, or eligible for registration on the part of the HCPC
