Social Media Coordinator / Press Officer

Our Local Authoirty Client in the East London Area are looking for a Social Media Coordinator / Press Officer who has relevant experience in a similar role.

MAIN PURPOSE

Develop Community engagement through Social Media.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Skilled and passionate social media communicator

• Experience of developing community engagement through social media

• Able to research the social media landscape and look at ways to engage and
develop lasting relationships

• Able to seek opportunities to improve the use of social media and develop ‘followers’

• Work with web team to manage social media presence

• Develop the use of social media within campaigns and PR activity

• Ability to assist media team and deal with media enquiries and press releases
