Smart Buildings Technology Consultant

Cordless Consultants is a management and technology project delivery consultancy providing independent specialist support in emerging technology and its impact on business. Our HQ is a stone’s throw away from St James’s Park in Westminster. Although we have embraced agile/hybrid working since our inception in 1999.

We are looking to add one or two additional SMART Buildings consultants to our SMART practice. We are currently engaged in some very high profile SMART Building projects and have a healthy pipeline of upcoming work so you will be busy on live engagements.

Your primary objectives will be:

Technical/Strategic Consulting

To provide the following services to client’s based on the above specialist fields:

* Smart consultancy to clients to design, procure and install smart and innovative solutions

* Strategic consultancy related to the impact of new technology on behaviour, operation, and space (real estate) requirements and translate to initial project design solutions.

* Contribute to the development of the business’s knowledge and understanding of new and emerging technology.

Primary Skill Requirements

* Specialist knowledge in smart building products and services

* Broad technical background and therefore strong understanding of impact on workplace and change

* Good understanding of Hybrid Working driven or enabled by new and emerging technology

* Ability to communicate technology in easy to understand language

* Excellent Technical writing skills

* Excellent presenter with ability to deliver presentation against brief, in an interesting and compelling manner

* Ability to assist clients in requirements and budget assessment

* Highly structured approach to project delivery using industry standard tools and processes

* Highly ordered and methodical and able to record and report information and save this in order to provide a clear audit trail

* Ability to research and communicate new technologies and developments to the wider Cordless Consultants team
