We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join the team based in Milton Keynes. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site and maintain high levels of operational safety, operational standards and financial control. As site leader you will be responsible for driving the performance of the Warehouse, Administration and Transport functions. You will be expected to ensure high levels of service to both our internal and external customers.

Site Operations Manager Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

> All site operational activity, including warehousing, transport and administration.
> Recommend ways in which the company can improve profitability and operating effectiveness
> Through leadership and active involvement ensure compliance to: – statutory requirements, quality procedures, responsible care, insurance requirements, and company policy statements including employment and disciplinary procedures.

We Are Looking For:

// You will be PC literate with experience of WMS/SAP systems, have excellent coaching, influencing and communication skills and have a “Can Do” customer centric approach.

// Experience in a high quality, food grade environment utilizing HACCP would be an advantage.

// You will be an excellent people-manager who leads by example and is able to adapt quickly and effectively to operational issues. You will be outgoing and personable, a manager who takes pride in their work and leads by example.

// You will have an proven results record of achievements and as an excellent people manager, you will have the ability to network and influence at all levels. You will be exceptionally organised, passionate about high standards and be capable of achieving results through others.

// This is a fast-moving and dynamic environment, and you will need to be a focused and targeted individual with a passion to succeed and a willingness to progress within the role, and the business.
