Alandale Group of Companies specialise in the provision of bespoke logistics, scaffolding and security solutions to the construction industry within the UK and Europe.

We work with many of the major contractors on high profile projects and currently have positions for Site Managers within Alandale Logistics Ltd and Alandale Plant and Scaffolding Ltd. The positions will suit experienced Site Managers looking to be part of a thriving team with construction experience in Logistics or Scaffolding.

As an experienced Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects allocated to you which includes pre-tender work, planning, budgeting and coordinating packages at a senior level. You will be involved in working with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring the project runs to schedule.

The role will also involve controlling delivery of materials, movement of site traffic and managing a range of trade operatives. You will ultimately be responsible for ensuring that the contract is delivered on time and keeping the Contract Manager informed of the progression in accordance with the reporting procedures agreed.

Key components of the role will be to deal with complex, high profile projects and represent the company at a senior level at meetings. The ability to demonstrate excellent strategic project management experience and skills is mandatory.

Logistics Site Managers

Candidates applying for the Logistics Site Manager role must have similar proven experience on high profile and large value construction project and managing multi-disciplined operatives on a busy site. They must also hold:

• SMSTS
• NVQ 6 – Black Managers Card
• First Aid

Scaffolding Site Managers

Candidates applying for the Scaffold Site Manager role must have similar proven experience on high profile and large value scaffold project and managing site teams on a busy site. They must also hold:

• SMSTS
• Advance CISRS

Suitable candidates will need to have a relevant qualification and sufficient experience in logistics or scaffolding.
