Shipping Marketing Analyst

Salary: £420 per day

An experienced Shipping Marketing Analyst (AE EB) is required by our client, a large and respected Shipping Line based in East London. The main job purpose is to co-ordinate and manage Europe Export Vessel Space Management in line with Trade Policy & objectives through day to day activities.

The primary job responsibilities and measurement:

* The role is primarily dealing with the Europe – Asia trade and therefore relevant experience in this trade is desirable but not essential

* To act as Space management focal point for designated regions/service loops.

* Responding to Space requests in a timely fashion whilst analysing & judging business contribution in the context of best slot usage.

* To perform regular structural review of regions performance against target levels & follow-up on any performance deviations

* Analysis of booking trends and taking proactive actions to ensure full utilisation

* Route management and route priority setting within internal systems.

* Complete regular KPI reports and follow up on any deviations

* To represent the Marketing team at internal & external meetings as & when required

* To be fully proficient with all Trade Management OPUS Modules and perform timely and accurate review & maintenance of same when & where required.

* Capability of taking on ad hoc projects when required.

You will have the ability to analyse data and have excellent MS Excel along with good Word and PowerPoint skills. Must also be able to work to tight deadlines and have flexibility in approach to work. Must have at least 3 years Pricing experience within the Shipping industry preferable within a Space Management role. Excellent opportunity for the right experienced candidate.
