Shift Manager

Salary: £26,000 per year

Are you an experienced, driven and ambitious Shift Production Manager?
Are you looking for a fast-paced and challenging new role?
Do you have 3-5 years experience in a shift based role?

If so, then this is the perfect role for you.

As part of continued expansion and plans for further growth, my client are looking to recruit two Shift Managers for their busy packaging manufacturing facility based in Cambridgeshire.

Ideally you will be an experienced man manager with the complete tool box of modern manufacturing processes, principles and methodologies, and be able to demonstrate previously successful role in which you have contributed and delivered against time, labour and machinery measurements.
To be successful you will need to be a confident leader in a rapidly changing environment, one who executes strategies with clear direction and tenacity. Using your transparent management style, you will contribute to a culture of collaboration and a non-political environment, working closely with two others shift managers in developing a continuously improving working conditions.

Managing around 30 multi-skilled staff across your shift, you will be responsible for their mentoring, development and performance, and also hire suitable staff when required.

Your understanding of lean and continuous improvement will need to be vast, including demonstrable experience in such problem solving processes as PDCA, DMAIC and 5s prefered.
