QA Area Manager Night Shift

My client who is an established food manufacturer in Leicestershire are looking for a QA Area Manager to cover night shift. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the role will be to manage and co- ordinate all Quality Assurance activities on nightshift to ensure that products are manufactured to the correct safety, quality and legal standards and to continually challenge and improve technical standards. You will be required to liaise extensively with Production, Hygiene, Engineering, and Purchasing colleagues to ensure technical and quality standards are understood and upheld by all departments.

You will be responsible for managing a team of 2 – 4 Quality auditors per shift. We are looking for an individual to work 19:30 to 07:30 on a 4 night per week rolling continental shift pattern to work back to back with the other QA Area Manager nights.

You will have a degree in Food Science/Technology or a related discipline with at least 3 years management experience of working within the technical area of the food industry.
