Salary: £54,000 per year

Shift Maintenance Leader (Electrical) – Facilities Maintenance – Canary Wharf

My client is a market leading building maintenance service provider with a significantly expanding portfolio across the UK. They are actively seeking a Shift Maintenance Leader to conduct daily PPM & reactive duties across one of their prestigious high rise contracts in Canary Wharf.

The successful candidate will look after the day to day engineering operation, whilst working alongside 1 x Shift Engineer. They will also be supported by an onsite Technical Day Supervisor and Technical Account Manager.

Job Specification:

* Responding to any reactive and the planned maintenance to plant throughout the buildings such as: LV electrical systems, data hall cooling/humidity, BMS systems monitoring, UPS, generator systems, electrical installation and safe systems of work, Pumps, Motors, Valves, Pressure Systems, AHU’s, FCUs, Generators, HVAC system, pipework and water treatment to name a few.

* Ensure strong communication clients

* Manage workload accordingly

* Organise sub contract labour.

* Request quotes from contractors

* Manage PPM’s

* Carry out works in accordance to health and safety procedures

Salary & Package:

* £54,000.00 Per Annum

* 4 On 6 Off / 6 on 4 off – Days & Nights – 07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00

* 20 Days Annual Leave

* Overtime Rates: x1.5 & x2.0

The Person:

* City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Engineering

* HV-AP (Highly Desirable)

* Demonstrate strong communication and people skills

* Team player, strong management skills

* Prioritising and solving problems often under pressure, utilising innovative solutions.
