Shared Ownership & Leasehold Officer – Hybrid

Salary: £37,733 per year

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Shared Ownership & Leasehold Officer to join their team in Stafford, on a fixed term contract for 12 months. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of housing legislation and leasehold management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing an effective, efficient and customer focused service for shared ownership, leasehold, commercial and garage tenancies portfolios.
• Managing part of the rental and service charge income collection for the portfolio.
• Interpreting leases.
• Providing advice and assistance to leaseholders and stakeholders.
• Managing the processes for staircasing, resale, lease extension, alteration and assignments.
• Leading on Section 20 leasehold consultation projects.

• Ability to think ahead and be pro-active on behalf of customers and the organisation
• Commitment to customer care
• Positive approach to tackling problems
• Experience of building strong relationships through excellent communication skills
• Full driving licence
• Role subject to basic DBS check

Salary / Benefits:

• £37,732.8.21 per annum plus essential car allowance
• Hybrid working – minimum 1 day in the office per week
• 37 hours per week
• 25 days holiday, increasing with each year of service (maximum 30 days) – plus bank holidays
