We have a great opportunity for Sewing Machinists ( shoe industry ) for our client based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a temporary to permanent basis.
Job: Sewing Machinist for the shoe industry
Previous experience in sewing for the shoe industry is essential
Immediate start
Location: Sheffield,South Yorkshire
Duties for the Shoe Sewing Machinist Role:
• Follow an operating instruction for the particular job.
• Complete requirement for sewing items using appropriate materials.
• Draw threads through needles and adjust machine functions to meet the requirements of the sewing project.
• Report any faults or discrepancies to the Team Leader.
• Quality Control checks.
• Perform general maintenance tasks on sewing machines to ensure their longevity.
Ideal Shoe Sewing Machinist Candidate:
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent hand-eye co-ordination
• Experience in working with targets
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
