Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Technician/Fitter looking for a role with excellent training, development and progression possibilities to really increase your skill and knowledge.

This company are a specialist manufacture of machinery supplied into a variety of industries particularly including Automotive. With the majority of their business being down overseas, they are currently expanding and growing and need to add additional Service Technicians to the team.

In this role, the successful candidate will be involved in the testing, assembly, installation and commissioning of this company’s equipment. The role will involve extensive travel overseas for potentially a couple of weeks at a time where you will install and commission the equipment as well as train operators and maintenance engineers. The remainder of the time will be based on site in Cheltenham building and testing the equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity to take a role where you be constantly challenged and pushed to your technical limits.

The Role:

*Build and test of machinery in Cheltenham
*Travelling the world to install and commission the machinery
*Training operators and maintenance engineers
*Spending approximately a quarter/third of the year abroad

The Person:

*Holding a minimum of an HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering
*Strong mechanical background with knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
*Any electrical knowledge is advantageous
*Possibly from an Armed Forces background or machine tool fitter/service or toolmaking
