Heels & Brogues Recruitment are working with a world leading manufacturer in the coffee machine industry to expand their Service Engineer team to cover the Cruise Line business as well as National support when required.

Job Title: Service Engineer

Salary: From £32,000 plus an annual bonus of 5%

Location: South of England

As a Coffee Field Service Engineer, you will receive full training before joining the 1-4 weekend rota, allowing you to become an integral part of our team.

They are seeking a positive and enthusiastic Coffee Field Service Engineer to join their team; however, experience in another electro-mechanical field service role would be considered.

Main duties and responsibilities:

•Primarily provide cruise ships with a dedicated service

•To sail with a ship globally when not docked so as to complete planned maintenance work and repair work

•To carry out the installation of coffee machines when required during dock

•Secondary, provide regional support around the UK as and when required between sailings

•To ensure all cruise line calls from SIPS scheduling are completed within the time constraints of the sailing schedule

•To continue to develop technical knowledge on machines to be able to provide continued support to the cruise line business and national support

•Work with the regional Service Team Manager when giving regional support

•Good communication with the service desk for call allocation

•Good communication skills with customers to assess their needs

•When investigating devices with issues, work to resolve in a satisfactory manner to all parties


•Besides experienced technical knowledge, the key attributes required are:

•Relevant industry experience on bean to cup coffee equipment

•Customer orientated

•Organisational skills

•Reasonable systems knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Explorer and systems relating to coffee equipment)


•Able to work under pressure

•Passport required
