Service Engineer

Salary: £43,200 – £45,600 per year

V7 Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a marker leader in their field. They are a go to Pump Manufacturer with work not only throughout the UK, but Overseas and Offshore. With a pipeline of significant projects arising, they are looking at expanding their Service team and require a highly experienced mechanical bias Field Service Engineer and someone who is an expert on various pumping systems.
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for preventative maintenance, breakdown, troubleshooting, repair, installation and commissioning of a wide range of centrifugal pump systems on customers sites Regionally.
Field Service Engineer Key Responsibilities
* Servicing of Electric & Diesel Driven pumping equipment and systems.
* Servicing, installation and commissioning of centrifugal pumps.
* Fault-finding on electrical control panels.
* Alignment and installation of rotating machinery.
* Meet with customers.
Qualificaitions & Experience
Essential:
* Relevant qualification to NVQ Level 3/4 (A-level to HNC or equivalent)) in mechanical engineering or relevant experience which shall be at least 5 years as a pump field service engineer.
* People skills, teamwork, and collaboration
* Problem solving skills
* Excellent customer service
Desirable:
Electrical qualification will be an advantage
Please note, this position has a considerable amount of travel and although the patch will mainly be the South East England, Engineers need to be prepared to work further afield so suit customer requirements elsewhere from time to time.
