Service Engineer

This leading Energy Systems business are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join their thriving, growing business. Attracting a salary of £38,400 – £45,600and using a fully expensed company vehicle, you will be responsible for conducting new installation work and scheduled servicing work throughout the UK.

THE JOB

Reporting to the Service & Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for commissioning, conducting scheduled PPM work and responding to breakdown repair calls for a core client base of commercial clients including Hotels, Shopping Centres, Apartment blocks, New Builds etc

Responsibilities include:

– Maintinaing and Repairing Heat Pumps & Water Chillers

– Routine Servicing and Commissioning of ground source heat pump systems
– Carry out diagnostic and fault finding
– Maintain documentation relating to systems maintenance records
– Prepare accurate service reports
– Carry out all work in a safe and diligent manner
– Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures

THE PERSON

The successful engineer will undoubtedly be an experienced Engineer.

You will also have:

– F Gas qualification
– An electrical qualification eg. 17th Edition, City & Guilds Electrical/Electronic Engineering
– An electrical understanding of either PLC`s or Controls (Tridum Control Systems)
– Experience in Refrigeration, Chillers, Ventilation, HVAC or Commercial Building Services Plant Maintenance
– The ability to interpret mechanical & electrical drawings
– A full, clean UK Driving License
