Service Desk Analyst

IT Helpdesk / Service Desk Analyst required for a leading IT Company based in Southampton. An excellent customer service background and good IT knowledge are required. Great opportunity to join a company that will put you through lots of training!

Working in a busy IT Servicedesk environment, the IT Helpdesk / Service Desk Analyst will have excellent customer service experience as well as a thorough understanding of IT. Working with this leading IT organisation, the successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy customer service role and will have a passion for IT and a real desire to learn there way around an IT support environment.

** Please note, This position involves being Part of a 24x7x365 rota and as such, you will work on a shift basis. For details, get in touch**

Although an IT background is preferable, we’ll also be interested in candidates that have a call centre experience or candidates with a good basic knowledge of IT systems such as Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Key skills:
– Very key to this role is a friendly, helpful, team-orientated person that shows excellent customer service skills
– Ideally from a Service Desk background but will consider Customer Service Background if you can back it up with strong technical skills/knowledge
– Strong desire to build and enhance your skills in IT
– Highly beneficial to have certifications in A+, MCDST, MCITP or similar
– Desktop Support, Network Support, Printer Support and Telephony/telecoms Support
