Senior Web Application Developer (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), Leatherhead

A passionate Senior Web Application Developer is required to be part of the UK’s leading web testing performance company. Our client is looking for strong frontend developers who also have a flare for backend development with open-source technologies (PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl).

Joining their fun yet challenging environment, the Senior Web Application Developer will be choosing and implementing the latest web technologies. The successful candidate will be working on a variety of projects including updating and maintaining current products and building new solutions.

Reporting to the Development Manager, the Senior Web Application Developer (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) will ideally be familiar with working in an agile environment.

Essential Skills as a Senior Web Application Developer (JavaScript, HTML, CSS):

•Extensive knowledge of frontend web development (JavaSript, HTML and CSS)
•Excellent working knowledge of open-source, object-oriented development, design patterns and coding best practices
•Experience of open-source web technologies (PHP, node.js, ruby, python, perl, etc.) and an interest in learning new technologies
•Ability to design web applications and architecture
•Experience of optimising performance
•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor other developers
