The successful candidate will be required to Design, Develop and Deliver a broad curriculum in support of the Global Operations functions. They will also be responsible for supervising/directing training delivery by subject matters expert and local training resources globally.

As Senior Trainer you will work collaboratively with local Operations management to identify performance gaps, appropriate training interventions, and other development activity required to improve business performance. They will need to assess the effectiveness of training programs during and at designated intervals after delivery ensuring effective transfer of learning from the classroom back to the job.

The successful candidate must be capable of independently overseeing the classroom environment for long-term and complex training situations, managing all aspects of student performance and feedback to management.

As part of the role the candidate must have a willingness to travel to global internal and external vendor locations (estimated 30% travel).

The requires requisite skills to take responsibility for coaching, mentoring and overseeing other trainers, technical and behavioural skills for trainer development purposes.

Background/Experience Desired
• Previous training experience(preferably in a medical insurer)
• Strong technical knowledge of the operational functions within a medical insurance environment.
• Excellent system skills
• Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of an organization.
• Proven Coaching /Mentoring competency
• Experience in insurance operational functions – claims, client servicing, customer services.
• Highly beneficial to have language skills in Mandarin and/or Arabic
Education
• Bachelor’s degree level desired or equivalent work experience.
• Education in adult learning principles and best in practice learning techniques
Ideally the candidate will have experience working in a technical claims environment
