Senior Design and Development Engineer – Cambridge, £30,000 / £50,000
, United Kingdom – My client is a Cambridge based global PLC and are looking to recruit a Senior Design and Development Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Key Accountabilities:
Leading role in the development and validation of experimental and modelling methods for the design and development of the Fluidics and Ink Supply System of my clients products from concept to prototype and production. Develop and implement robust and efficient design optimization strategies to achieve a required performance within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Develop and deliver design and development solutions for the New Product Development within programme plan. Prepare and document design and development results whilst coaching, mentoring and assisting group members to deliver the highest standards of work.
Qualifications / Experience
Ideally you will have 5 to 10 years experience in application of experimental and numerical techniques to solve complex multidisciplinary engineering problems, such as Microfluidics, Acoustics and Fluid Structure Interaction. 3D CAD Design of micromechanical devices. Design and construction of experimental rigs to evaluate microfluidic performance. Development of robust design methods using experimental and validated numerical models
Desirable
Experience in Matlab, ANSYS or Comsol
Advanced microfluidic product development and design
