Senior FPGA Design Engineer

nGenium has partnered with a leading technology company for professional broadcasting. This is an exciting opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer who specialises in FPGA development to work within a small team of multi-disciplined engineers and be involved with specification implementation and testing of state of the art products.

The following FPGA skills are essential:

• FPGA design and verification experience in VHDL or Verilog

• Degree level qualification
• 5+ year’s FPGA design and verification experience 

Beneficial Embedded Software skills and experience:

• Broadcast video
• Multi-rate DSP
• Audio processing
• ARM based Embedded microprocessor system design
• High speed UDP/IP Networking (10/25/100G)
• 2022-6 and 2110 broadcast media over IP

Desirable skills and experience:

• Xilinx tool set (ISE, Vivado)
• Active-HDL or ModelSim FPGA simulation tools
• TCL scripting
• MathCAD/MATLAB
• Python
• C /C++/ Linux
• Board level high speed digital and analogue circuit design 
• Schematic entry and providing PCB layout guidance
