Senior Supply Chain Coordinator – Food Importer

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Supply Chain person with an exciting organisation who purchase hundreds of products from around the world.

You’ll cover a range of duties in the procurement team and will work directly for the Supply Chain Manager and are likely to have your own direct reports.

Key aspects of the role will include:

*Optimising stock levels through the purchase of products from a designated supply base, in-line with purchasing procedures.
*Effective maintenance of Product Information and Pricing
*Working closely with purchasing manager to minimise wastage and avoidance of lost sales due to lack of product availability
*Analysis and reporting of all aspects of the product supply processes
*Managing and guiding junior supply chain co-ordinator

An excellent telephone manner, clarity of voice and the ability talk to people from many different countries is essential for your success in this role. It would be a real benefit if you were fluent in a 2nd major European Language but this is by no means essential.
