Senior Supervising Social Worker

HCL Social Care are recruiting on behalf of a well established IFA with an excellent reputation for providing high quality and tailored packages of care to young people across the UK.

Duties:

Provide regular supervision, support and monitor the quality of care provided by foster carers, in order to ensure the success of placements by managing own reduced caseload

Provide regular support and supervision to allocated Social Workers and oversee their practice to ensure that the best outcomes are achieved for children

Help develop skills of allocated Social Workers and foster carers in line with their training needs

Provide quality support to foster carers and children throughout the entire placement and ensure that all child placements are sustained and end naturally and properly

Organise and complete regular home visits (announced and unannounced) throughout the year

In order to deliver an effective service, a degree of flexibility is needed and the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above

Essential Skills:

Social Worker Qualification / Degree
Two Years Post Qualification Experience
HCPC Registration
Driving License with own transport

The successful applicants will be appointed subject to references and enhanced DBS check.
