Salary: £45,600 – £52,800 per year

The Opportunity.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our existing development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an agile framework to shape solutions in support of a key UK defence project.

Key Responsibilities.

You will be expected to read and understand formal system requirements, perform analysis of the requirements and then provision poker point estimates with the team to develop a Windows based applications using enterprise patterns, practices & recognised methodologies.

You will need to carry out design, then author and execute unit tests and software engineering in support of the complete stack from User Interface through to database design.

Work as assigned by the team leader and work closely with the chief engineer, software architect and testing teams.

Attend meetings with product stakeholders, providing subject matter expert advice as required and have a close interface with external providers of products to be integrated within the main product.

What we are looking for?

You should ideally possess a background and proven experience in the following:

C#, HTML5, CSS, TypeScript,.Net /.Net Core, Web API

Agile, Entity Framework, OOD, TDD

*

SQL, Visual Studio, TFS / GIT

*

Enterprise Software engineering

You must be willing to work as part of an integrated multi-technology team and have an appreciation, acceptance and adherence to the constraints of working on highly classified defence platforms.

You must have experience of leading small teams and projects as needed, be Self-motivated and have excellent communication skills to support delivering a high-quality service.
