This role has a starting salary between £44,614 to £47,681 per annum based on 36 hours working week. About the Role

We have a vacancy in our West Surrey Team (based in Guildford). We are looking for a competent Senior Social Worker to join our allocations team working with complex cases in order to meet their desired outcomes. This includes legal court work, partnership working with our health colleagues, completing Section 42 enquiries and supervising junior members of the team to ensure a high quality standard of service is provided.

As a Senior Social Worker in Surrey you will work across various unique projects that ensure our valued service users have the opportunity to enjoy a home of their own, an environment in which they are supported to live a healthy & meaningful life.

Shortlisting Criteria

To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following:

  • Your substantial post-qualification professional experience as a Social Worker
  • Experience of providing professional supervision.
  • Your understanding and experience of working in a strengths-based approach.
  • Your knowledge and experience of current legislation such as The Care Act and The Mental Capacity Act.
  • Your experience of undertaking safeguarding enquiries and examples of you using your professional judgement in complex situations.
