A Social Worker and a Senior Practitioner are required to join Powys County Council for an initial 3 month contract. The location of these roles are Welshpool for the social work position and Newtown for the Senior Practitioner post. Pay rate for this position will be between £33.6 – £38.4per hour as a limited worker dependent upon experience.

Duties and responsibilities for this role include:

-Experience of working with Older People

-Experience of carrying a complex caseload

-Experience of supervising social work assistants / social workers for the senior practitioner role

In order to apply for this role you are required to:

-Hold an enhanced DBS

-Be registered with the Care Council for Wales

-Driving Licence
