Senior Residential Childrens Worker

An exciting opportunity to join an independent social care provider with an excellent reputation, has arisen.

4 Bedded service for children aged 11-18 requires a Senior Residential Support Worker to work in one of their Children’s homes based in Worthing, East Sussex.

As a Senior Support Worker you will be ensuring the care and welfare of each child and giving guidance and support to the support workers on shift. You will be responsible for staff supervision, leading shifts and ensuring policies, procedures and risk assesments are in place.

This is a full time vacancy, 40 hours per week based on shift patters to meet the needs of the service. This will include some evening, weekends and some over night shifts paid at an additional £35 per shift.

To be successful you must be a driver, you will also have some previous experience in a similar setting and also hold an NVQ level 3 in either Health and Social Care or Children and Young People (or equivalent).
