Salary: £26,000 – £28,800 per year

Job Paths 4 U are recruiting for an experienced Senior Residential Childcare Worker, on behalf of an independent foundation which provides care for children and young people. The service is based in Fledborough, Nottinghamshire.
Our client is an independent foundation which offers Therapeutic care to children in their residential and educational services
We are looking for an experienced Senior Residential Care Worker to work in the residential services in Fledborough.
As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, you will play a vital part in providing the highest standard of care to EBD Children and Young People.
Below is a brief overview of your roles and responsibilities as a Senior Residential Childcare Worker:
* Be responsible for completing/ updating the care plans and making sure the Children Young people’s plan is being followed
* Complete all relevant reports, assessments, and completion of records to a high standard
* Act as a positive role model for Junior staff to make sure the highest standard of care is being delivered at all times
* Be able to assist the Children & Young people to relevant health organisations
* Assist in the educational, social, emotional, and behavioral development of children/young people based
* To assist & company Children & Young people to suitable activities in the local community or Fledborough and the wider community of Nottinghamshire
Requirements for this role as a Senior Residential Childcare Worker:
* NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care – children & Young People or the Diploma Level 3 Children/ Young people Workforce
* At least 18 months’ experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting.
* Required to work out of office hours
* Car Driver with access to own vehicle
* Ideally based within a commutable distance to Fledborough
* Awareness/understanding of children’s behavior as a result of traumatic experiences in their lives such as, abuse rejection, etc and knowing how to manage this in the home
