Company & Project: Apple Technical Recruitment have partnered with an award winning regional consultancy operating across multiple sectors including Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use and Education. The successful business, who employ 30+ staff, are seeking to recruit an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Essex.
Our client has as an exciting project list secured for the next 18 months+ and they are looking for a Surveyor to work on projects to c£10m for their prestigious and repeat clients in the local area.
There is a clear pathway for promotion to Associate QS, with no ceiling for growth in this profitable and progressive company.
Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading projects to c£10m.
You will be responsible for concept to completion cost management, including but not limited to – cost planning, variations, tender analysis, contract administration, cost reporting, change management, employers agent and final accounts.
Desirable Experience:
– 5-7 years+ post-grad experience working as a Quantity Surveyor with a chartered surveying practice or consultancy.
– Excellent client facing skills and experience working in both pre and post contract surveying.
– MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor
– Previous Roles: Quantity Surveyor OR Cost Manager OR Senior QS OR QS OR MRICS Surveyor.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or comparable qualification. MRICS Chartership.
