Senior Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £60,000 – £72,000 per year

This is your opportunity to join one of the most successful house and commercial building companies in the North West.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director as one of the Senior Quantity Surveyors you will be responsible for large and prestigious projects throughout the North West.

You will work closely with the Materials Buyer, Site Managers, the Construction Department, the Development Department, the Accounts Department and the Sales Department so establishing good internal working relationships is a key part of this role.

You will be supported by Assistant Quantity Surveyor/s dependant on the size of the project.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

Pre-Start Meetings

Project Managing the Working Budgets

New Subcontractor Meetings

Costs to Complete

Quick Interim Monthly and Quarterly Valuations

Payment of Sub-contractors and Suppliers

Site Development Meetings

Pricing of Clients Extras

Cost Feedback to the Commercial Director

Contra charges and re-charges against Subcontractors

Surveyor Team Meetings

Close liaison with the Development Department

Development Specifications

In all you do you will ensure the Commercial Director receives updates and feedback on all cost issues arising.
